Rooted in Indian culture, this film celebrates connection, movement and community through expressive design and storytelling. Lina worked closely with co-director Sheetal Thankey to craft the cultural world and visual language shaping character design, palette, and environment with authenticity and warmth under the direction of Anna Ginsburg. The result blends handcrafted charm with vibrant, cinematic detail.
Creating these characters was a joyful exploration of culture and craft. Drawing from the rich heritage of Indian traditional costume, Lina developed designs that balance authenticity with visual storytelling. Every silhouette, colour, and accessory was chosen to bring warmth and individuality to the screen, celebrating the charm and rhythm of Indian life.
