I believe visual stories can change how we feel, remember and connect. I craft modern, emotional experiences that leave people not only inspired but deeply connected to the world and to each other.
Who I Am
I’m Lina Li, an art director and visual storyteller who creates modern storytelling experiences. With nearly a decade of experience in animation and design, I bring a strong eye for colour, mood and narrative, driven by a deep passion for human connection.
I collaborate with like-minded brands, studios and cultural groups to transform abstract ideas into cinematic visual experiences, not just through design, but through atmosphere, emotion, and story. My work builds strong, memorable visual identities and immersive experiences that inspire audiences, spark joy and leave a lasting emotional impact.

Where It All Began
My journey began in China, where drawing captivated me and brought immense joy. Encouraged by my mother, who saved every scribble, I gained the confidence not just to create for myself, but to share happiness with others.
Later, I moved to the UK, where I earned an MA in Character Animation at Central Saint Martins (UAL) and embarked on a career spanning animation and visual design. Along the way, I discovered that my creative drive wasn’t merely about aesthetics, it was about connection.
I see art as a language of emotion: a way to spark joy, meaning, and resonance. My work seeks to create experiences that feel alive and human, shaped by colour, mood, and narrative. These experiences have shaped not only my craft but also how I see the world, with curiosity, empathy, and imagination.
I continue to create with humanity at the heart of my work, finding beauty in emotion, honesty in imperfection, and connection in the stories we share.
